California, 1966. In 1966 he was transferred to El Paso, where he would later
have a successful real estate and insurance career.
Donated his time and talents to the Northeast El Paso Rotary Club, YMCA, General
Omar Bradley Chapter of the Association of the United States Army, and
Department of Veterans Affairs; he continued to be active with Darby's Rangers
and the army, conducting officer development programs at the Sergeant Majors
Academy at Fort Bliss, and in 1993 was honored by being inducted into the Ranger
Hall of Fame at Fort Benning, GA.
