Notes:
1. This table of organization was used during the Tunisian
and Sicilian
campaigns. While most armored divisions converted to the new structure in September
1943, the 2nd and 3rd Armored Divisions retained the 1942 structure until the
end of the war.
2. An armored regiment consisted of two medium tank battalions and one light
tank battalion. An armored infantry regiment consisted of three armored infantry
battalions.
